Alright, I'll admit it, I really do have a few "resolutions" that I'd like to work on. Here they are:
Professionally:
1. Get more involved with Facebook to connect with other teachers.
2. Spend more time making activities to keep my 6th Graders engaged.
3. Get a good grasp on the Common Core Standards for Math!
Personally:
1. Read more books.
2. Complete another triathlon ~ I did Iron Girl last year and want to do more!
3. Related to number 2, conquer my fears of the water!

It's a New Year's Give Away!
It's a new year which means it's a new me! I'm not really one for resolutions, but I am one to change things up a bit. Which is why I have decided to put some of my TeachersPayTeachers items as free! Anyone that knows me well knows that I LOVE my Smartboard at school. I literally can't get enough of it. I love creating new lessons with it and the attendance boards are my absolute favorite - and my students. Morning times can be pretty chaotic in any classroom. So, I created these attendance boards so that my students can be in charge of attendance while I get to focus my attention on the other things that are going on. Below are 5 of my attendance boards that I wanted to share with everyone for FREE. I'm also including a couple math sheets that I hope you middle school teachers can use. Hope you enjoy!
